


B. JAVKHLAN
Director (Working Groups)
Javkhlan serves BCM as a Director (Working Groups). Its mission is to offer a platform for BCM members to discuss current and emerging issues, share information and experiences, and engage in activities to advance the business environments. The Working Group serves as a bridge linking representatives from: government agencies; donor groups; NGOs from all sectors.
Before joining BCM Javkhlan accrued 10+ years of extensive working experience in the USA, Singapore, Switzerland working in public, private and international nongovernmental organizations.
EXPERIENCE
Javkhlan began her career as a Business Executive at SingTel Telecommunications in Singapore working as a data analyst for two years. Prior to that she was appointed as the first Mongolian accounting intern in Senior Care Communities, LTC Solutions in Irvine California. She also held several positions as a permanent employer and internships with International NGOs including: World Bank in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia; UNECE in Geneva, Switzerland and Knowledge and Technology Transfer Practice Project of European Commission in Olten, Switzerland.
Javkhlan’s thesis focus was on CSR Engagement Strategy at ABB in Switzerland, where she was appointed as a CSR and community relations officer in SouthGobi Sands LLC, a subsidiary of SouthGobi Resource Ltd. apublicly company listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange and the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong. Later, she served as a Referent at State Great Hural (Parliament) of Mongolia. As a referent at the parliament, she acquired detail knowledge on Mongolian law and resolutions and continues to review and prepare drafts on new proposals to changes to existinglaws and resolutions as a member of Economic Standing Committee of the Parliament. She also prepares booklets describing the content and intend of approved laws for MPs.
After Mongolia’s government election in 2016, Javkhlan accepted the position as General Manager at NGH LLC where she designed and implemented marketing and business development planning. Her work successfully increased market awareness, generated leads and resulted in a significant incremental revenue increase of – over 35%.
EDUCATION
Javkhlan holds a Master Degree in International Management from University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland (FHNW) in Basel, Switzerland and Bachelor degree in International Business Administration from Mongolia International University (MIU).
She has participated in and completed training in areas such as: management, leadership and policy innovation. Trainings include: “Mongolian Young Leaders Program” organized by MonAme Scientific Research Center in Istanbul, Turkey; “Manager’s Shadow Project” organized by FHNW in Brazil; “Promoting Cultural Diversity in a Globalizing World” Global seminar organized by UNESCO and UNU-KNCU in South Korea; “Partnership Building with Young Leaders of Mongolia” organized by KOICA and LOGODI in South Korea; and “Leadership Development” program organized by MIU in USA.
SERVICE
Javkhlan has volunteered her time and initiated various community service activities such as: English language sessions for secondary school students, and also educational workshops, field trips, sport events, fundraisers for homeless street children throughout Mongolia
O. TUVSHIN
Editor-in-Chief
Tuvshin “Tuvi” Orlokh grew up as a Third Culture Kid, spending time in Australia, the US and Austria before coming back to Mongolia in 2013. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Syracuse University in 2012. Tuvi manages BCM’s weekly NewsWire as his main duty as Editor-in-Chief, and will conduct interviews with BCM members from time to time. As for interests, he enjoys philosophy, football, music and candid conversations.
B. INDRASHID
Foreign Affairs Manager
Indrashid started working at BCM from August 2018. She organizes and coordinates for key activities of BCM and works with Chairman.
Previously, Indrashidi worked as an International organization such as Good Neighbors Mongolia at Program officer and Transparency International Mongolia as a project officer. She implemented advocacy and educational projects.
Indrashidi holds Bachelor of Social science and Political science and diplomacy from Chonbuk National University in South Korea. She also studied English Language and International security trends from Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand.
