ALS Group LLC commenced operations in Mongolia in 1994 by setting up a representative office of Alex Stewart Assayers Ltd in Erdenet.
Being a well-known independent inspection company Alex Stewart was providing weighing, sampling, moisture determination and assay services to Mongolian mines and international trading houses.
ALS Ulaanbaatar laboratory was established in 2003. Today, ALS Mongolia laboratories became one of the largest full-service laboratories in Mongolia, providing wide range of analytical services to the mining and geological exploration industry.
ALS laboratories in Mongolia are accredited to ISO/IEC 17025:2017.
