Outstanding loans rise M-O-M, Y-O-Y PDF Print E-mail

The Central Bank reports that money supply (broad money or M2) at the end of February was 1.3 percent more than in January and 63.3 percent more than a year ago. Loans outstanding at the end of February were 2.6 percent more than in January and 29.9 percent more than at the end of February, 2010. Principals in arrears rose 9.3 percent over January, but were 23.6 percent less than in February, 2010. Non-performing loans were up 0.4 percent against the figure for January 18.4 percent less than in February, 2010.
