Mongolia is being considered on the of world's richest countries in natural resources before four-fifths of the country has been explored. Mining projects will bring hefty investment to Mongolia, said the source.

The mining sector drove 6.1 percent growth last year and was up 9.7 percent in the first quarter of 2011. The International Monetary Fund (IMF) predicted Mongolia could grow at rates in the double-digits each year within the next decade. This would lift per capital income four times its current average of USD 2,470.
