Garrison International Ltd. has announced its plans to consolidate its shares and change its name to Desert Eagle Resources Ltd., pending approval from shareholders in December.

Garrison currently has about 173.3 million common shares outstanding. Garrison has proposed to consolidate its common shares so that one share would be issued for every 18 common shares outstanding, resulting in approximately 9.63 million common shares. The firm believes that consolidation would facilitate future financings through the issuance of additional common shares.

Garrison is a junior mineral exploration company focused on acquiring and developing advanced stage gold properties in Mongolia.
