Sedgman Limited was recently named the 2011 Australian Exporter of the Year. The firm has built the first coal washing facility in Mongolia for Energy Resources for approximately USD 200 million.
The award is selected from the winners or 12 national categories, of which Sedgman won the National Minerals and Energy Award. This honor follows the company's award for Minerals and Energy at the Queensland's Export Awards in October.
The Australian Export Awards is one of Australia's longest running and most prestigious business award programs. It honors the achievements of Australian exporters and celebrates their contribution to national prosperity.
