Taken place between November 14 - 20th, Global Entrepreneurship Week have brought together over 10 million people from 123 countries business leaders, firms, students, political leaders and entrepreneurs came together around the world to celebrate the Global Entrepreneurship Week. GEW promotes entrepreneurship through a network of individuals and organizations that aim to inspire, connect, and equip entrepreneurs with the tools to bring ideas to life and drive economic growth.

Newly founded NGO, SWMONGOLIA, in collaboration with 25 local and international partners and 8 sponsors have celebrated the first Mongolian GEW Mongolia. Our sponsors, XacBank, OyuTolgoi and APU, not only made the week possible but also played important roles in supporting the local startups. GEW Mongolia included 10 events and 700 plus participants. It was truly a successful week, where Mongolia had educated, debated and conversed about Entrepreneurship and SMEs. The events varied from High Lectures at the 13th Public School to University Lectures, competitions, special lectures and talks, and networking gatherings, among other events.

Throughout the week, we were featured in various newspapers, magazines and TV stations. Including Mongolian National Broadcast, Mongolian TV, Eagle TV, UBS, MN25, ETV and Star TV. GEW Mongolia was also featured in papers like Business Times, UndesniiShuuden, UB Post, and websites like Zindaa, Zaluu, Biznetwork,GoGo, Zarlig and many others. Some of our projects are still continuing till 2012. CarPoolPitch will be selecting it's winners shortly and have them meet the top CEOs in the second round. We will also be selecting winners of the CodeForMongolia.
