The Government decided at a special meeting on April 2 that the Tavan Tolgoi deposit, while remaining fully owned by the State, will be divided into two parts and the operating contract will be awarded to two companies. They will be offered a production sharing agreement.
First Deputy Prime Minister N.Altankhuyag said the policy on the coal deposit will be submitted to Parliament in the present session and hoped it would be approved without much delay.
