Ali bin Ibrahim Al-Naimi, the Saudi Arabian Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, has said his country is ready to help train Mongolian oil specialists and create opportunities for Saudi businessmen to invest in Mongolia. The Minister, leading a delegation to Mongolia, met with Prime Minister S.Batbold and later said that his visit aims to explore opportunities for mutual cooperation and investment in the mining sector and that the Saudi Chamber of Commerce and Industry looks forward to strengthening bilateral cooperation with Mongolia. Mr. Batbold told the visitors the two countries needed to step up their cooperation in the mining and minerals sectors as there is great potential for successful and mutually beneficial cooperation. He stressed the need to raise current bilateral cooperation to a new level, especially in the mining and minerals sectors, which are the two countries' most dominant economic sectors and added that Mongolia could learn from Saudi Arabia's experience in oil exploitation, capitalization and management.
