Initial diamond core drilling has started at Voyager Resources’ Argalant Gold Project in Mongolia. The program is designed to test highly anomalous geophysical targets that were delineated from a recent induced polarization (IP) survey conducted over the area.

Argalant is about 900 km west of Ulaanbaatar. The property is 21sqkm in size and is in a similar geological setting to the nearby Golden Hills Gold-Copper Project. Voyager plans to complete about 1000 meters of diamond core drilling at Argalant in coming weeks.

Voyager continues to focus on growing its gold business in Mongolia through the acquisition, funding and focused development of high quality gold projects. The start of drilling at Argalant is the second in a number of drill programs to be completed over the next six months, with reverse circulation drilling continuing at the high-grade Daltiin Ovor Gold Project and drilling to start at Voyager’s Tsagaan Chuluut and Tsagaan Gold Projects.
