Minerals Council approves moncement project PDF Print E-mail

The Minerals Council of Mongolia (MCM) has approved the MonCement Project developed by the MonPoliMet Group. The Group recently completed the feasibility study for this big project. MCM member L.Purev told media the project had two separate parts. One was construction of a lime mine and the other a cement factory at the Sejit Khudag Lime Mine in Dornogobi Province.

The Group conducted detailed exploration for the last five years and determined 12 million tons of confirmed and 55 million tons of estimated reserves in the explored area. Both figures have been approved by the Council.
