BCM submitted the Mongolian version of the attached 'Recommendations for Tax Law' in late December 2009 to Mr. Bayartsogt, Minister of Finance. Copies were sent to Mr. D. Zorigt, Minister of Minerals and Energy, and Mr. Oyunbaatar, Director of the General Tax Authority.
This was the output promised to attendees at the November BCM-PricewaterhouseCoopersTax Workshop.

On April 15, 2008 PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and BCM hosted an International Tax Workshop in the Khan Bank Theater. Over 90 participants from BCM members attended. This free, bilingual Tax Workshop was most informative and well received by members.

BCM with the assistance of BCM's Tax Working Group collaborated with the Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MNCCI) and the Mongolian Employers Federation (MONEF) in issuing a letter on December 4, 2007 to Parliament and key Parliamentary officials regarding proposed amendments to the Social Insurance Law. BCM's proposed amendment is for the purpose of enabling businesses in Mongolia to attract qualified employees by capping the employer's contribution to the Social Insurance fund similarly to the existing cap on employee's contributions.
