On 18 April 2025, a discussion on Mongolia’s Draft Law on Climate Change was co-organized by the Ministry of Economy and Development and the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, with support from the Business Council of Mongolia (BCM) and GIZ Mongolia.

The forum provided a platform for private-sector leaders, policymakers, and experts to exchange views on Mongolia’s approach to climate action. Discussions focused on the draft law’s core objectives: strengthening climate governance, improving cross-sector coordination, and enabling a low-carbon, climate-resilient economy through clearer mandates, implementation pathways, and private-sector participation.
